Recipes that work all week.

Our first batch-friendly recipes are on the way. Each one will come with clear timings, a full method and meal prep and storage notes.

Recipes coming soon.

Our first recipes are being written. In the meantime, the guides cover planning, shopping and safe storage for your prep week.

What “batch-friendly” means here

Recipes on No1 Food Prep are written to be batch-friendly, so each one will include realistic timings, a clear method and storage guidance based on Food Standards Agency advice. Each one will list realistic prep and cooking times, a step-by-step method, how many portions it makes, and clear storage notes: how to cool it, how long to keep it in the fridge, whether it freezes well, and how to reheat it safely. Storage notes follow Food Standards Agency guidance on chilling, freezing and defrosting.

Recipe categories we’re planning

  • Halal-friendly: recipes written with halal ingredients in mind. Always check the halal status of the specific products you buy; see our halal meal prep checklist.
  • Budget: simple store-cupboard meals that stretch across the week.
